TeQuaidas Diagnostics – Blood Pressure Policy & Communication Guidelines Effective Date: March 8, 2026 At TeQuaidas Diagnostics, we are committed to providing accurate blood pressure (BP) measurement and monitoring services as part of our mobile diagnostic and laboratory offerings. This policy outlines proper procedures for BP collection, patient communication, and how we handle related personal and health information, including SMS notifications, terms, and privacy practices. 1. Blood Pressure Measurement Guidelines Preparation: Ensure the patient has been seated for at least 5 minutes. Avoid caffeine, exercise, or smoking for at least 30 minutes prior to measurement. Equipment: Use validated, properly calibrated BP monitors. Use the correct cuff size for accurate readings. Procedure: Place the cuff on the patient’s bare upper arm at heart level. Record at least two measurements, spaced 1–2 minutes apart. Document readings clearly in the patient’s record. Follow-Up: If BP readings are abnormal or concerning, notify the patient and advise consulting a licensed healthcare provider. All findings are informational; TeQuaidas Diagnostics does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. 2. Communication & SMS Notifications TeQuaidas Diagnostics may send SMS messages to patients for appointment confirmations, reminders, lab results notifications, or service updates. Consent to SMS Communication: By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from TeQuaidas Diagnostics regarding your appointments, blood pressure checks, and other lab services. Message frequency varies depending on scheduled services and communications. Standard text messaging and data rates may apply. Opt-In / Opt-Out Procedures: Patients opt in via website booking forms, contact forms, or service requests. To opt out, patients may reply STOP to any SMS message.
